OFFICIAL BULLETIN: ABU Directs Staff to Stay at Home

The management of Ahmadu Bello University has directed staff grade level 12 and below to stay at home in compliance with the federal government’s commitment to contain the spread of covid-19 (coronavirus) in the country.

This directive exempts management staff and others on essential duty in the medical and health services, security and fire service, bulk materials, waterworks, and ABU FM Radio. Also, any officer whose services might be required could be called upon to come to work from time to Tim.

The management further advises staff to strictly adhere to specific government directives and heed experts’ advice such as social distancing, personal hygiene and timely report of suspected cases to appropriate authorities.

This order will remain in place until further notice.
