The Dean, Students’ Affairs Division, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Prof M. Y Fatihu has cleared the uncertainty about the date for the University’s post UTME exercise.
This becomes necessary following the repeated inquiry and conflicting rumors about the ABU post UTME screening exercise for the 2020/2021 academic session.
Speaking to the President, Ahmadu Bello University students’ representative council (ABUSRC), comrade Abubakar Sadeeq Ali in his office earlier today, Prof M. Y Fatihu clarifies that No date has been set yet for the exercise and the ABU post UTME Forms are NOT yet out.
He informed the ABUSRC President that when the date is set, it will be Communicated to the public through the right channel.
The dean further advises applicants to disregard any information to the contrary which is currently in circulation and warn students to desist from sharing unconfirmed information which is capable of creating confusion.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), had earlier shifted the post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (post UTME) screening for the 2020 admission processes till September 7 in universities, polytechnics and colleges of education in the country.
The board said the shift in the date of the admission process from the earlier announced August 21 was to accommodate candidates who are currently taking part in this year’s school-based Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE)
