Young Abusite RABIOU BARMOU is New Minister of Youth & Sports in Niger Republic
The President and Head of State of Niger Republic, (Président de la République du Niger) His Excellency Mr. Issoufou Mahamadou has appointed a Young ABU Alumnus, RABIOU BARMOU the new Nigerien minister of youth & sports.
In a minor cabinet reshuffle on 21st December 2020 in Niamey, President Issoufou appointed Rabiou Barmou as the new Minister of Youth and Sports replacing Adamou Ousmane.
Born on 8th July 1979 at, Maradi city, Niger Republic, Mr. Rabiou Barmou studied at the Department of Political Science and International- Studies, ABU Zaria, graduating in 2006 with a BSc in International Studies.
We hope this young and energetic Abusite will bring his wealth of experience to bear in serving his country and people diligently. And more importantly, giving meaningful representation to his primary constituency – the YOUTHS.
