The Kwankwasiyya Development Foundation with a vision of human capital development is now launching its first-ever Nationwide Scholarships Scheme to potential candidates in Nigeria.

Kwankwasiyya Development Foundation (KDF) is an initiative by His Excellency, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to empower people across Nigeria. Through the foundation, Kwankwaso supported many young people to pursue their education with continued financial assistance across the world.

Under the Kwankwasiyya Development Foundation scholarship scheme, four (4) candidates each from 36 States of the Federal Republic of Nigeria including Federal Capital Territory, Abuja are to study various undergraduate courses at Mewar International University Nigeria, the first Indian University in Africa.

The Kwankwasiyya Development Foundation Scholarships Package covers 100% tuition fees without hostel and feeding. It also covers all registration and administrative charges of the University.

Eligibility Criteria & Examination Pattern
  • The Mandatory JAMB score for all applicants is 160

For Computing Programs: Possession of A Grade in Mathematics & Physics in O/level Result (WAEC, NECO, or Other Recognized Board). Possession of Minimum B Grade in 3 other subjects in O/level Result (WAEC, NECO, or Other Recognized Board)

For Sciences Programs (Biology related): Possession of A Grade in Biology & Chemistry in O/level Result (WAEC, NECO, or Other Recognized Board). Also, Possession of Minimum B Grade in 3 other Science subjects in O/level Result (WAEC, NECO, or Other Recognized Board)

For Sciences Programs (Mathematics related): Possession of A Grade in Mathematics & Chemistry in O/level Result (WAEC, NECO or Other Recognized Board)
Possession of Minimum B Grade in 3 other Science subjects in O/level Result (WAEC, NECO or Other Recognized Board).

For Management & Social Science Courses: Possession of A Grade in English or Government and any other art subject in O/level Result (WAEC, NECO or Other Recognized Board). Also, Possession of Minimum B Grade in 2 other subjects in O/level Result (WAEC, NECO, or Other Recognized Board).

Pattern of examination

  • The examinations consist of 45 MCQ-based questions. Duration is 60 minutes of online exams as per schedule

Syllabus for Faculty of Management & Social Sciences: 15 Questions each on General English, Civic Education/Commerce, and on General Aptitude/Current affairs.

Syllabus for Faculty of Computing:
15 Questions each on General English, Mathematics and General Aptitude/Current affairs.

Syllabus for Faculty of Sciences:
15 Questions each on General English, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology (based on course selected), and on General Aptitude/Current affairs.

Application Process & Time-line

Eligible Applicants need to visit the application link on the Directorate of Admissions Portal and submit their application

KDF academic counsellors will review the application and then approve it for first stage of online examination

After conduction of the examination scholarship offer letter will be issued.

Student needs to register at the University as per the prescribed schedule on the scholarship offer letter

Last Date for submission of application : 26th July 2021 on or before 11:59 PM

Release of login credentials for the Online examination portal : 31st July 2021 via email

3rd August 2021 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Faculty of Computing)
4th August 2021 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Faculty of Management)
5th August 2021 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Faculty of Social Sciences)
6th August 2021 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Faculty of Sciences)

12th August Batch I
13th August Batch II

Scholarship award ceremony for the final 148 candidates : Proposed Date 15th August 2021 (Indian Independence Day)
