Update: Prof Rafindadi, Kawu re-elected to serve on ABU Governing Council
Prof Aliyu Rafindadi Sanusi of Department of Economics and Prof Kawu Muhammad Umaru of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine have been re-elected to represent Ahmadu Bello University Congregation on Governing Council of the institution.
Following their re-election, they are to serve as internal members on the Council for the second and final term of two years.
The Abusites had earlier reported that the ABU Congregation Electoral Committee had on Tuesday, 25th May, 2021, conducted elections into Governing Council, Senate, Boards and Committees of the University.

Prof Shehu Ismail Chafe, Chairman of the Congregation Electoral Committee, announced all the elections results today after the conclusion of votes counting.
Prof Chafe, who described the conduct of the exercise as hitch-free, commended members of the electoral committee for the hard work and commitment towards ensuring the success of the elections.
He also commended members of the Congregation for turning out to cast their votes.
The Chairman further lauded the effort of all those who contributed in one way or the other, especially the the University security personnel, towards the success of the exercise.
