Prof Kabir Bala set the train for better days in ABU

Alexander the great remains a leader that is remembered worldwide not for his vast kingdom but for his prowess and visionary thoughts. To this time there are many people that see the future like today and read the distance of a year just like the present moment.
Professor Kabir Bala is one of the few people we have that are always for the people and for their development. The new Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria is truly a leader that has the opportunity at the right time to reposition ABU Zaria to its stage of excellence.

Professor Kabir Bala has shown to the world just a few days after his oath that he is the man that the prestigious institution is waiting for to shine its glory. He made some reshuffling of some key positions in the institution to have a very good and formidable team of zealous and industrious people.
He appointed Dr. Shu’aibu Shehu Aliyu, a workaholic and super working academician as the Director of Arewa House situated in Kaduna State. Professor S. B Junaid is appointed as the Acting Director of Iya Abubakar Institute of Information Communication Technology because a cap only fits the right owner.
Professor Ahmed Doko Ibrahim is appointed as the Directorate of University Advancement for his vast skill in the field of Information Technology. Professor Muhammad Yakasai Fatihu is mandated to direct the affairs of the students of the University as dean of students’ affairs replacing Professor Bambale.
What a man can do, a woman can do it better which explains why Professor Binta Abdulkareem took the directorship of the Institute for Development Research and Training, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria while Profesor Y. M Ibrahim of the Department of Quantity Surveyor was appointed the director of Directorate of Academic Planning and Monitoring.
Looking at the vast knowledge of the appointees and their expertise in their various fields, there is no doubt that the University is set for the journey of excellence and prosperity which will weed out the challenges facing the renowned institution of old ages.
With Professor Kabir Bala, the delay of postgraduate results will be a thing of a history which is one of the problems giving headaches to postgraduate students.
For sure the school will toe the path of standard by improving on the welfare of the students and the general staff of the University. Surely with the man professor Kabir Bala as the VC of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria the good days break and the better days are counting.
