ABU Veterinary Teaching Hospital set for World-Class operations
Plans have been concluded by the management of Ahmadu Bello University to upgrade its Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine to a world-class standard.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kabir Bala, disclosed this while inspecting some renovation works at the hospital being handled by DAI Contractors under the Fleming Fund Country Grant.
Professor Bala was at the site on Tuesday alongside Proper Contractors Nigeria Limited, the sub-contractors, to match words with action.

He was holding the main plan of the project asking questions where necessary. Where there was an observation, he sought for more explanations and gave his advice too, to ensure efficiency and prudence in resource utilization.
Those present during the visit included the Contractor, Mika’ilu Al’hassan, Architectural Engr. Arc. Abdullahi Sada and the Director, Physical Planning and Municipal Services, Ahmadu Bello University, Engr. M.A. Sambo.
Others were the Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Professor J.K.P. Kwaga; Director, Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Professor Balarabe M. Jahun; Deputy Dean, Professor Mohammed Bisallah; HOD Microbiology, Dr. Jibrin Adamu and the Faculty Officer, Mallam S.I. Yahuza.
