A Senior ABU Lecturer Dr. Aminu Declared missing
A senior lecturer with Ahmadu Bello University, Dr. M.I Aminu has been declared missing by his family and friends.
According to sources, Dr. Aminu who is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration was last seen or heard from three days ago.
According to Salim B. Magashi who shared the news in a Facebook post, Dr. MI Aminu was to travel to Kano from Zaria in the early hours of Monday, 10th May, 2021.
He wrote, “It has been three days since we last heard from our brother and friend, Dr. MI Aminu, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration, Ahmadu Bello University.”
“He was to travel to Kano from Zaria in the early hours of Monday, 10th May, 2021. Sadly, all his phones have been switched off and all efforts to trace him have so far proven abortive.”
Dr. Aminu who holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from the Universiti Utara Malaysia is a former lecturer at Kano state polytechnic.
According to a post on his Facebook profile, he recently celebrated a Milestone in his Academic Career by successfully supervising five (5) M.Sc. and M.Phil. Students.

The post reads, “Another Milestone In My Academic Career! Today 7th April, 2021, another five (5) of my M. Sc. and M. Phil. Supervisees have successfully defended their research works at the external level (Viva Voce). I want to use this medium to congratulate you, my people, I also thank the Department, the HOD, Coordinators, PG Representative, and also importantly the External Examiner In the person of Associate Professor Mukhtar Shehu Aliyu of Bayero University. Thank you once again, Prof., and safe trip.”
