The students recently completed their programs with excellent results and the scholarship extension is a reward for making the institution and nation proud.

Speaking exclusively to The Abusites from China, one of the Graduates, Yahuza Faisal (fasa) confirmed that they have indeed completed their studies without hitches and all of them performed excellently.

“We did our project defense on 3rd June. The two departments Transportation Equipment and Control Engineering together with Traffic and Transportation Engineering

“While the Civil Engineering did their defense on 31st May. But there was online defense because of the corona outbreak. The two departments did Oral defense in front of Four professors per group.

“Their ways of grading were different from our Nigerian system but almost all the students fall within the range of excellent and good.

“It was a wonderful one both academically and other life experiences. We really learned a lot within a period of two years. And Insha Allah very soon we’re coming back to Nigeria.” He concluded

The students have been celebrated not just by the University and Abusites but even the Nigerian Railway Corporation which is going to be a direct beneficiary of their expertise.

The students are appreciative of the opportunity; “We really can not thank ABU enough. We understand the importance and significance of this opportunity which is why we have vowed to Insha Allah, do everything within our power to make the institution and all Abusites proud.” Said Faisal
