Zazzau Emirate Council visits ABU Vice-Chancellor

A powerful delegation from the Zazzau Emirate Council today Tuesday 19th May, 2020 visited the Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, Professor Kabir Bala in his office.

The high-level delegation which was led by the Sarkin Fadan Zazzau, Alhaji Abbas Ahmadu Fatika was in the institution to felicitated with Prof. Kabir Bala over his appointment as the new Vice-Chancellor of the university.

Other members of the entourage include the Barden Zazzau, Alhaji Idris Idris, and the Dokajen Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Garba.

The leader of the royal delegation, the Sarkin Fadan Zazzau, Alhaji Abbas Ahmadu Fatika, prayed to Almighty Allah to guide and help the new Vice-Chancellor in the discharge of his official responsibilities.

He also presented to the Vice-Chancellor a congratulatory letter from the Emirate personally signed by His Highness the Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris, CFR.

Recall that professor Kabir Bala recently took over the affairs of the University. The former Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria had earlier in January, 2020 emerged as the new Vice-Chancellor of the university.

Prof. Bala was announced as the Vice-Chancellor by the Chairman, Governing Council of the university, Alhaji Adamu Fika out of the 17 professors whose names were penciled down for the position
