Zainab Hamisu: The Young Entrepreneur who died Just 3Months After Her Wedding
The Abusites community is still in shock over the sudden demise of Zainab Hamisu, the young abusite entrepreneur who died yesterday 15th May 2020. She was a kind-hearted and caring sister, wife, and serving corp member.
Mrs. Zainab Hamisu Lawal who hails from Funtua LGA, Katsina State is a graduate of Microbiology (class of 2017/2018) from the Department of Microbiology, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
Zee, as she is called by her friends, was a born entrepreneur who aspires to build and run a mega business empire that will employ thousands of graduates and help to tackle the problem of unemployment in Nigeria.
Zainab Hamisu was a self-taught makeup artist who was passionate about beauty. She was the CEO of Zeehams Touch, a makeup and beauty business she started in 2017.
Zainab was an inspiring Individual who nurtured her passion into a talent and built a business out of it, which earned her an award as the most outstanding makeup artist in the northern region of Nigeria.
Zainab was also passionate about mentorship and sharing her knowledge as well as skills to help empower others. She taught and mentored hundreds of other young entrepreneurs across the northern part of Nigeria and hoped to one day, become the best makeup artist in Nigeria.

Just 15th March 2020, she was a facilitator in the Kaduna state entrepreneurship conference; a one day conference on unleashing the secret to the success of small businesses that took place at ceremonial canopies event Center, Kaduna.
Zainab was a very active member of the Young entrepreneurs’ foundation for youth development and empowerment – YEFFYDE.
Mrs. Zainab Hamisu Lawal got married to her love, Nuhu Garba Sani just three months on precisely 1st February 2020.
She was a 2019 batch B, stream one corp member with just a few days left to mark the end of her National Youth Service

Her husband Nuhu Garba Sani can only pray for his angel to rest in the bosom of the Almighty. “Allah ya karbi shahadan ki Zainab . Karshen ki tayi kyau In sha Allah. Rest In Peace my angel” he tweeted.
Jubrin Musa Abokie who has known Zainab since childhood said “She is indeed a kind-hearted person with a good mindset and also a caring Sister who I happen to know since her primary school days. May Allah grant her peace in her grave and may she be among the women in Jannat ul Firdaus, Ameen. We love you but Allah loves you the most.
“We belong to God and to Him we shall return. After just three months after the wedding of Zainab Hamisu… Anyone who stays with her knows she was a good person. Her death is a great loss. May Allah have mercy on her and forgive her shortcomings” said Hakilu Eldorogo a friend of the family.
