NAERLS Loses a Prominent Professor

The National Agricultural Extension and Research Liaison Service (NAERLS) has announced the death of a prominent academic, Professor James Adeosun, a native of Esa-Oke in Osun State, Nigeria.

Professor James Adeosun died On Sunday 15th March 2020. He was a professor of weed science extension at the Institute and Team Leader of NAERLS in The Typha Project.

At the time of death, he was the Zonal Officer of NAERLS Southwest Office, located in Ibadan. He previously served as head of the Department of the Crop and Forestry Dept at the Institute.

The remains of James Adeosun were committed to mother earth Wednesday 20th May 2020 in Zaria. He was 60 years old, and is survived by his wife and children.

NAERLS pray for God to comfort the immediate family and friends of Prof James Adeosun.
