Covid -19: Kwara ABU Alumni distributes palliatives to 100 households
The Kwara state chapter of the great Ahmadu Bello University, ABU Alumni association has provided succour to about 100 households in the state.
At the presentation ceremony, the state Chairman, Alhaji Abdullateef Adebowale, who was represented by the Secretary, Mr Lanre Ahmed said the aim of the palliative distribution is for the association to help in cushioning hardship faced during the pandemic.
In his own address, chairman welfare and palliative committee of the association, Mr Babatunde Salam disclosed that food items and money would be given to the less privileged in the society. This was our own little contribution to help global community.

The palliative presentation was attended by members of the association among whom was the Kwara state NSCDC commandant, Mr Ale Bello.
Beneficiaries include widows, orphans, people living with a disability, and the unemployed. One of the beneficiaries, Mr. Ibrahim Ajadi thanked the association for the kind gesture and called on other well meaning individuals and organizations to emulate it.
