My Ordeal: How I was attacked by Armed Marauders on Campus
A student of Ahmadu Bello University, Jov Barnabas has shared an ordeal of how he was in the early hours of Wednesday, (3AM) 28th April, 2021, attacked by armed marauders who invaded the place he was reading.
Jov who is a medical student was reading in preparation for a test which was slated to commence 2pm the following day. He shared his ordeal with Abusites. READ BELOW.
In the early hours of Wednesday, 28th April, 2021, at about 3 am, I was attacked by armed marauders who invaded the place (not mentioned due to security reasons) I was reading in preparation for a test which was slated to commence at 2 pm the next day.
The said marauders were three in number – one with a knife, another with a gun (pistol), and the other with a shuttle laptop bag.
Due to the heavily armed and heavily build masculine nature I was suppressed and gave out my bag, they ransacked it and went away with SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A leaving behind the said bag, with some textbooks and lecture materials all flipped on the ground with a lot of beating unleashed on me.
In the said Tab, there was a registered sim card with the number: 08065701077– MTN.
I have since brief the Ahmadu Bello University security of my attack and measures are ongoing in bringing the perpetrators of this crime to book. (I do hope and pray, they catch them)
However, this writeup is not to create a debate on the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria’s security outfit but to educate my colleagues, family, friends, and indeed the general public of the insecurity challenges in this country at the moment and hence, the need for you to be vigilant and watchful as you go about your daily activities.
Therefore, it is, in the best of your interest to avoid calling, texting the above number and even, replying to my WhatsApp chats for now, as you may be prawned to danger.
