ABU Zaria Losses Another Prominent Professor
The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria community is in mourning yet again following the death of one of its prominent lecturers, Prof. Anthony Abasido UDOH.
Prof. A A Udoh a reputable professor of business education and former head of the Department of Vocational and Technical Education (VTE) died in the early hours of today, Tuesday, according to University sources.
The cause of death wasn’t announced at the time of this report.
Several of his students and colleagues have paid tribute to the late professor who they describe as “the Doyen of Business Education”, saying his death is a great loss to the Department of Vocational and Technical Education in particular and ABU Zaria in general.

Musty Azeez wrote, “…Such is life! What a great loss to vocational and technical education, What a great loss to Business education, What a great loss to ABU entirely, I was shocked when I heard d news about your demise PROF, A A UDOH. May your soul rest in perfect peace. A man with a good heart.”

The demise of Prof A A Udoh is coming barely 48hrs after the University was thrown into mourning following the death of two young undergraduate students who died in separate road accidents along Zaria – Kaduna Road.
Mubarak who was until his death, a 400L undergraduate student of the human kinetics department, ABU Zaria died in a car accident on Saturday while Atiku Mustapha Yusuf died in another road accident on the same route hours later.
