ABU Student invents futuristic solar-powered Kiosk (photos)

A young Nigerian inventor and undergraduate at Ahmadu Bello University, (ABU) in Zaria, Kaduna State, Usman Dalhatu has designed and invented a futuristic solar-powered kiosk, custom made for the Mai Shayi and Indomie sellers.

The 200 level student of mechanical engineering, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria who hails from Gombe state displayed his latest invention via his official Twitter handle @UsmanDalhatu5

The kiosk which has a built-in solar-powered stove and various compartments for food storage allows sellers to conduct their businesses without the need for a generator.

It also has a television screen attached to the front, which allows customers a viewing pleasure while waiting for their order.

It would be recalled that the 200 level ABU undergraduate made headlines at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic last year when he designed a ventilator, he also designed an industrial vacuum cleaner.
