Our very own Usman Dalhatu who went viral during the fledgling days of COVID-19 for producing a ventilator and later transforming his invention into a portable E-vent automatic ventilator has again achieved another great feat.
The 200 level engineering student of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria has transformed his vacuum cleaner idea— conceived 5 years ago— into reality
Dalhatu posted pictures of two versions of road sweeping machines on his Twitter page. One is an old version and the other is the latest version of the machine.
He said the latest version is available for sale.
Nigerians took to social media to celebrate the young genius who hasn’t only made his Ahmadu Bello University and Gombe state proud, but the entire Nigerian nation.
Recall that Usman Dalhatu became a social media sensation when he partnered with other innovators to build a locally made ventilator that was presented to Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe state.
Dr. Yunusa Muhammad Garba of the Human Anatomy Department, Gombe State University; Aliyu Hassan, a graduate of Mechatronics Engineering and Usman Dalhatu, a 200 level student of mechanical engineering, ABU Zaria, all partnered to produce a locally made ventilator.
The Kaduna State ICT Hub later granted financial resources Dalhatu Dalhatu Usman for the mass production of ‘sophisticated’ E-vent automatic ventilator.
The Chief Executive Officer of KAD ICT Hub, Engr. Yusuf Bashir said the firm provided the fund and resources to encourage the young inventor and tackle the menace of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
The young inventor, who hails from Gombe State, revealed that his evergreen dream is to become a celebrated mechanical engineer that will be fabricating machines, among other amazing technological inventions, that will make work easier for people.
