Tragic! ABU Student Died on His Way Back Home

The national association of students of English and literally studies [NASELS] Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria chapter has announced the shocking death of one of its members Malam Mai Shanu.

The statement signed by Afis Ibrahim, NASELS Secretary-General said, Mai Shanu (as he was popularly called) was a 300l student of the literature section in the department of English and literary Studies, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria.

ABU Student Died on His Way Back Home

He died in a tragic motor accident in the afternoon of yesterday, Friday 20th March 2020 while traveling back to his hometown Argungu in kebbi state following the thirty (30) days closure of the university as a result of the coronavirus (covid 19) epidemic.

“The NASELS leadership and members grieve over this unfortunate event and prays that God forgives his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.

NASELS also pray that God Almighty should forgive us all and grant his family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss of a humble, gentle and reserve personality.
