ABU STEM Coders to launch course materials sharing App Nov 7th

The STEM Coders Club, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has announced the date for the launch of its latest innovation; THE CAMPUS SPACE APP. A platform for class reps to share course materials with their peers.

What is Campus Space App?

Campus Space is a cloud-based socio-academic web application built by the STEM Coders Club, Ahmadu Bello University to provide students and other key players in the learning environment easy access to study materials.

The platform aims to improve communication as well as dissemination (sharing) of study materials effectively for the best learning experience!

Campus space caters for all academic institutions encompassing training, professional and traditional methods of learning. It seeks to bring all study materials in one place for easy access and more sustainable use.

The pilot phase for this project is targeted at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria – Nigeria. It is managed by the STEM Coders Club as part of the plans in place for solving contemporary problems in society.

With many other cloud-based services available, Campus Space is 100% open source; providing access to study files for students globally with no hidden charges to better enhance access and promote effective study habits.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Coders, abbreviated as STEM Coders, is a computational club set up for computational activities and allied related disciplines and careers.

Campus space

The Club was established on two cardinal philosophies: (I) Peer to peer learning with project execution, (II) Industrial professional to peer learning with project execution and incubation.

The platform is for all and sundry irrespective of course of study and career disciplines. Since every profession needs knowledge of information and communications technology to achieve a lot with less, STEM Coders equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge which are of higher demand in the industry right from the university in a more flexible way other than the school curriculum.

The club is geared towards; Learning, Execution of ICT projects, Solving community systemic, problems with ICT and entrepreneurial approach thereby creating solutions to help move their careers, discipline, and the economy to a greater height.
