ABU ex-students donate solar power plant to Alma Mata

Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Class of 81-84 pharmacy students have donated a solar power plant to the institution to provide for an alternative source of power at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The power plant worth N1.5 million is specifically to serve as an alternative source of electricity at the Pa Ishaku Lecture Theatre.

Dr. R O Bolaji announced the donation when she led a delegation of ABU Class of 81-84 pharmacy students on a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Kabir Bala in his office today.

She said the gesture was informed by the need to provide a conducive learning environment in the institution.

In his response, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Kabir Bala expressed appreciation for the donation, assuring that the University would make the best use of the facility.
