Eminent ABU Alumnus donates two vehicles to alma mater

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has taken delivery of two vehicles donated to the institution by one of its alumni.

The donor, who does not want his identity disclosed, graduated from the Department of Architecture. The gesture, according to the donor, was in appreciation of the quality of education he received from the University.

The vehicles (two Toyota Camry cars – 2015 and 2016 models) were presented to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, in the company of some members of Management right in front of the University Senate Building.

Receiving the cars, the Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude to the donor for the gesture and urged other alumni to emulate him. The Vice-Chancellor also assured the donor that the vehicles would be put to good use.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Ahmed Doko Ibrahim; and the Director of Directorate of University Advancement, Prof. Sani Abba Aliyu, assisted the Vice-Chancellor in receiving the vehicles.

Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Sani Abdullahi; Director, University Health Services, Prof. M.S. Isah; Ag. Director, Physical Planning and Municipal Services, Arc. Suleiman Mohammed; and Special Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor, Mal. Auwal Mohammed Yusuf was also present.
