ABU 2019/2020 Matriculation Ceremony Shifted

The management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has informed abusites and the general public that the 2019/2020 matriculation ceremony for undergraduate students earlier scheduled to hold on Monday 24th February 2020 has been rescheduled to hold on Friday 28th February 2020 by 10AM at the Mamman Kontagora Square (Main campus) Samaru, Zaria.

In a statement signed by the deputy registrar academic affairs Nuradeen Abdu, also ask those concern to note the following:

• Matriculating students should be notified and briefed properly on the importance of the ceremony and the need to attend accordingly. The University exams officer will, as usual, make necessary arrangements with the faculty officers to issue academic gowns to the students through the dean’s office.

• It is mandatory for all faculty deans to attend this important ceremony in person, and present their matriculating students as the case may be.

• The Deans of the Faculty of Administration and law are to liaise with the director of physical planning and municipal services to work out modalities and logistics of transport of their students to the main campus for the ceremony.

• Friday 28th February is declared lectures free day for all matriculating students to enable full participation
