It seems the new 33,000 Naira NYSC allawee is already helping young Nigerians to “discover love for the country and a desire to contribute more to national growth and development”.

That is the case of a corps member (name withheld) who claimed to be a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and serving in a South-South State of Nigeria. The “Patriotic Corper” claimed that he has written to the NYSC DG requesting for an extension of his service year by at least one year.

In a later he copied theabusites.com, the dude claimed that his decision isn’t connected to the new ₦33,000 NYSC allawee but out of his newly discovered patriotism and love for Nigeria (hmmm🤔🙄)

Here him: “Please note that this decision is NOT in anyway influenced by the newly approved ₦33,000 monthly allowance for corps members.…”

“……This decision is influenced by my newly discovered love for my country and the desire to contribute more to national growth and development.”

The “patriotic abusite corper” explains further that he understands that Nigeria needs help and it beckons on all to be patriotic and sacrifice in whatever way to help and it is in “this light” that he humbly request for extension of the service year.

We can not verify his claim or confirm that he has indeed submitted the letter. See a screenshot of the letter below👇👇
